Bladder & Bowel Health
Be Nice to your Bladder and your Bladder will be nice to you!
Sometimes it’s just “operator error”. Nobody teaches us what a bladder likes and doesn’t like or how to sit on a toilet to get the best bowel opening. How much should you drink in a day? And when should you have a wee?? Never too late to learn!
Get our free guide “How to be Nice to your Bladder” to learn more about how bladders work, what they like, what they don’t like and how to be nicer to yours!
Do read the article “3 Ps for a Perfect Poo” and watch my light hearted talk(for a public speaking competition). Reveals the simple secrets of how to have the BEST poo! Jokes aside, keeping the bowel moving well keeps pressure off your pelvic organs, lifts your mood and helps you concentrate! As well as providing entertaining conversation points to share with friends…
Pelvic Pain
You’ve heard of “tight” hamstrings or calves? Pelvic floor muscles and the other muscles that attach to the pelvis (inner thighs, gluts, lats) can also get too tight, restricting your pelvic movement and causing irritation to nerves. Sciatic nerve irritation gives classic leg pain, pudendal nerve irritation can cause testicular or perineal pain. Physiotherapists are part of the team who help men with Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPPC) get better. Do book an appointment to discuss your personal journey and have an assessment.

Core strength & flexibility
Both Yoga and Pilates were originated by and for men. Joseph Pilates first taught his exercises to German compatriots interned on the Isle of Wight during WW2. Today Pants and pony tails are optional. Plenty of men attend our Pilates classes. Do email if you’d like to try a class (real or online).
